Veterinary Informatics and Epidemiology
With support from a number of equine charities, data sets containing clinical information are being interrogated. The epidemiological aspects of selected diseases of horses and donkeys are being modelled using logistic regression. The aim of the project is to produce predictive and inferential models which are biologically meaningful and of use to equine clinicians in the management of disease.
